Dear all English language friends!

We would like to warmly welcome you at the Blue Wave website, which has been launched mostly in order to create a special website for Polish people from Poznan and towns in near interested in all aspects of living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our dream is to change the mindset of people, who still want to see all autistic people as completely disabled, so that unable to coexist with the rest of society, including such matters, as: work, education, relationships and alike. As we both are in spectrum, we see a need to spread awareness all over the world, not only in the place we live.

The Polish content will contain: events relating to autism, feuilletons about many aspects of daily life with ASD, translating English articles which show good practice dedicated to people with ASD to Polish, up-to-date ICD and DSM documents with fragments referring to ASD, contacts to foundations, associations, clinics, nurseries and schools in Poznan where people can find help, and reader’s corner.

Because we care very much about the permanent contact with worldwide tendencies in curing autism, we made a special column for you: English Corner, where all content will be published in English language only. If you happen to write your own poetry, essays, and feuilletons, feel free to send it to kontakt@niebieska-fala.pl, so that we could accept and publish it in English Corner, as the creation of yours.

Since the wideness of autism spectrum will not be discovered on our own, all your points of view, opinions and thoughts will be strongly appreciated.
